I’ll not tackle tobacco..nor will I touch on cigarettes ..I will however mention that Marijuana is used by alot of people here …there’s a stigma attached to it, because what we are shown is that it’s young delinquent men who smoke it and those same men contribute directly to the crimes happening here…from personal experience I can tell u that this narrative is not entirely true …I know of lawyers, managers, doctors, police officers and others well established in their field who use this (productive, smart, down to earth individuals)…so I dare say that if Marijuana was such a terrible thing to be taking into the body..it would more than likely have an adverse effect on those people and render them incapable of carrying out their duties effectively..no?but they do…and by just looking at them, u would not know they smoke Marijuana…so as far as having posing a serious problem to one’s well being …I’d say I haven’t yet noticed that…
I think of well being and I think of the mind as well and their minds seem to be doing just fine
It does. Second hand smoking is dangerous. When young boys in the community smoke the smell is unbearable by some members of the community. It had the smokers getting dangerous coughs and has those inhaling getting headaches nd feeling sick
All these smoking products add to the problems in society. Health wise, these products are addictive and we are seeing several users ending up with COPD, putting additional strain on our health services, family members and their quality of life. These products also embolden users to disrespect others and inconvenience non users in a very direct way. Imagine being at home and the neighbor, who is upstream of you, using these products and the smell is in your living room causing discomfort to you and your family. This is very real and efforts should go in minimizing the use as smoke travels.
It does. It alters your ability to think straight and is use to embolden criminals so it is not good for one’s mental health. It shortens life, disrupts family structure, strains families, the health system and inconveniences non users.
