My dad used to be a cigarette smoker…I grew to detest it through seeing him act addicted to it…he just had to have it …it got to a point where I started worrying about his well being because he would leave home at all hours just to purchase it ….family is important to me so as far as seeing benefits of the sale cigarettes go…I don’t…anything that harms my family is a no….I do however understand that money has to be made and that everyone is just hustling and selling things to put food on their tables but that way will remain a no for me …cigarettes and I have a hate hate relationship
As far as what the government can do or should do ….I mean..even on the cigarette boxes there are warning signs….I know we can’t control everything…no one’s arguing that..but take the lead and put legislation in place to stop the import of cigarettes…..provide support for addicts to help with the difficult transition that stopping the importation of cigarettes will bring …its one thing to have no smoking ads all over but still have the means of smoking coming in freely into the country (well not freely cuz customs lol but I think you understand what I mean ) show the people that you care past a paid advertisement uttering the words ” we care” u know
My cousin sells cigarettes and she said it has alot of profit. The young boys in the community would come to but it alot. 1 big box of cigarette lasts only a few days before it’s finished selling. It does have a great impact on her life as this is how she makes her daily bread.
Like I said on the last post, they should be hidden arenas in town or places in st.Luca where smokers should go to do they business, self-employee people who sell smoking items should be “only” allow to sell these items in these hidden areas, so that they can make money on what they do and help them get customers faster.
Like I said in my last comment there should be hidden areas where smokers should be smoke and self-employee people who sell smoking items should only allow to sell they goods there, That way younger generation wouldn’t be expose to smoking good at a young age.

They’re selling more than food and The world don’t care how many lives are destroyed by substance abuse. Especially tobacco.

There are absolutely zero benefits to my family as this product is a poison that destroys lives and families
There is no benefit and I believe it should be banned.
